Fern Garden & Tree Services was established nearly 2 decades ago by Scott, following many years of experience working with another respected local company. With a passion for high-quality workmanship and customer care, Scott decided to set up his own business to provide reliable and professional tree surgery services across Somerset and Dorset.

Since then, the business has gone from strength to strength and has grown into a truly family-run team, now employing over 10 skilled members of staff. Scott’s partner, brother and sister-in-law are both part of the company, helping to deliver a friendly, personal service that customers value and trust.
Fully Qualified Team
As a fully qualified Arboriculturist, Scott has over 18 years of hands-on experience in the care, management, and safe removal of trees and hedges. Fern Garden & Tree Services also employs 3 full-time tree surgeons working alongside Scott, meaning the team brings over 50 years of combined experience in tree felling, tree removal, and stump grinding.

Based in the heart of Dorset and covering neighbouring South Somerset, including Beaminster, Crewkerne, and Yeovil, the team pride themselves on offering an affordable, professional, and dependable tree surgery service. From routine tree maintenance to complex removals, every job is carried out safely, efficiently, and with respect for your property.

Scott has been qualified as a Tree Surgeon for nearly 20 years, he started the business in 2008 after working for Bryn Andrews and Woodland Garden Tree Services.

Scott is passionate about arboriculture and the business and is always looking for ways to improve operations in the business.

Alice comes from a background in events working on international sporting events.
She started working along side Scott during Covid when her Events Management business had to stop running events. She has brought her management and administration skills to the business to help it grow.
